J K School was established at the initiative of J K Education Society, founded by Jagadish Kallayanshettar to meet the need for a good School both in English & Kannada Medium in the area down the hill of "Nrupatung Betta".  The School has made all-round progress in the fields of academic and co-curricular activities over the past 3 years.

        The School premises, as it stands today, would not have been possible but for the vision, fore sightedness and meticulous planning by the managing committee of the J K Education Society; un grudging, spontaneous and timely help rendered by the educationalists, residents of the School vicinity and near by areas; and above all untiring and dedicated services of the teaching faculty, timely help and valued suggestions of the parents and guardians of students community, which all put together culminated the School into the present magnitude.  

         The School aims not only to achieve academic excellence but also to build up the character of the students, make them matured in the conception with good thoughts, firm mind, so as to enable them to stand on their own legs and render useful and better services to the people and nation at large.   

   The curriculum is an amalgam of two cultures, traditional values and modernity.     

The School strives to supplement academics skills that prepare the students to face challenges at the onset of their career right after School.
        The New Premises of J K  School includes Kindergarten, Nursery & KG classes.

The primary wing comprises of classes I to V and secondary wing comprises of classes VI to X.
